Recycled upcycled repurposed ……

I love taking old junk, repurposing it and giving it a new life! My ‘finds’ have come from the street where someone has put an item out that they’re done with, or from ‘freebies’ on sites such as Gumtree. The chair in the photo came out of a bin store, I nabbed it and here it is …..

I also make bags and cushions from old fabrics, fabric that has been gifted to me, clothes and t-shirts.

I upcycle old garden furniture, stuff that’s past it’s best, all it needs is some TLC and it’s made good again and ready for more days in the sun! I make the cushions to go on the garden furniture from old fabrics, old clothing, duvet covers, anything to hand. I’m continually amazed at the amount of garden furniture that gets thrown out every year.

The other thing I do is quilt. This year I’ve made three quilts, two to fit single beds and one to fit a double bed, using a mixture of vintage fabric, new fabric and fabric gifted to me.
