Old cassette tapes, some folk are too young to have owned and used them, but for those old enough to remember ….. well they were the way we listened and recorded music, the next step forward after LPs.

I acquired a bag full of them and had an old mirror kicking about, thus emerged the crazy cassette tape mirror. The hardest thing was scrubbing labels off the cassettes and taking the tape out of them. The tapes have been placed randomly in no particular order.

To achieve this look I used Rustoleum primer, Rustoleum spray paint in dark grey metallic and Rustoleum polyurethane finish. #vintage #retro #cassettetapes #funkedupjunk

Excuse my photography to avoid capturing an image with me on it I had to stand sideways on, which has made the mirror look squinty, but it’s not!
